    FAQ

    Common questions

    Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device, so it is private and fast, and it works with no internet after the page loads.

What size should website images be?

Full-width banners: about 1920px wide. Content and blog photos: 1200px. Thumbnails: 400–600px. Try to keep most images under 200 KB.

    Should I use WebP?

Yes, for websites. WebP is usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality and works in all modern browsers. Use JPG if you need to email or print the photo.

Why did my PNG not get smaller?

PNG keeps every pixel, so it is often large. For photos, switch the format to WebP or JPEG. Keep PNG for logos and screenshots with sharp edges or transparency.
