FAQ

Common questions

Why do I need an image link instead of uploading a photo?

Email programs like Gmail and Outlook block images stored inside a signature. The image must be online, for example on your website, so it loads for everyone. Upload the photo to your site and copy its link.

Why are the social icons letters, not logos?

Logo images are often blocked or show as broken boxes until the reader allows images. Small coloured letter badges always show, in every email program, and still look neat.

My signature looks different in Outlook. Why?

Outlook on Windows uses Word to display email, so spacing can change a little. This tool uses simple tables and inline styles, which work best in Outlook.

What should a good email signature include?

Your name, job title, company, one or two ways to contact you and your website. Keep it short: about 4–6 lines. A call-to-action link, like “Book a free quote”, can bring in extra work.
